McIlroy and 777online to broadcast Ridge Meadows Flames online in 2009/10 Flames hot on Internet

Twelve regular season games of the Ridge Meadows Flames will be broadcast online in the 2009/10 season with coverage of the playoffs as well. Dave McIlroy and will be producing the Internet broadcasts using the software developed by McIlroy's company.

McIlroy has been streaming audio and video online for fifteen years and has pro, semipro and amateur teams and leagues in his clientele such as BCHL and the WHL. Ryan Briggs will handle the play-by-play duties, becoming the first voice of the Flames. Briggs, a graduate of Columbia Academy, brings to the Flames more than six years of broadcasting experience which includes the Vancouver Canadians, UBC Baseball, B.C. High School Football and the Vancouver Trojans Football Club.

Briggs has also called hockey games for the BCHL, Delta Ice Hawks and recently called the gold medal game of the 2009 Cyclone Taylor Cup in Richmond. Alongside Briggs will be colour analyst Adam Dunfee, a recent graduate of BCIT who has written for BC Hockey Now and worked at Hockey News. Dunfee was also a part of the 2009 Cyclone Taylor Cup broadcast team, working the gold medal game alongside Briggs. Dunfee has also been a part of the Delta Ice Hawks and Burnaby Express broadcast teams.
